Our first catalog check took place on October 30, 2026, in Asia/Shanghai time (October 29 UTC). We checked twelve games with a free base-game entry point and recorded Hexologic separately as a normally paid game with a limited free-to-keep promotion.
What we checked
We read official Steam store pages and public Steam app metadata for product identity, free access, developer, publisher, platforms and supported play modes. Each game page includes source links and its own verification time. Descriptions summarize those sources; they are not hands-on reviews.
The initial multiplayer, co-op and strategy collections contain games with those features supported by official information. We have not presented this selection as a popularity ranking.
A giveaway stays separate from the game
The Hexologic page on Steam explicitly identified a free-to-keep promotion. We recorded its claim deadline separately, using SteamDB’s UTC timing to supplement the official page’s displayed time. Its status may have changed since this check; see the dated offer listing.
What we left out
We did not add unverified giveaways or populate a new-releases section with older games. Battle for Wesnoth’s API and visible store page returned different release dates, so that field is omitted. Counter-Strike 2’s app date is accompanied by a note explaining the older Steam listing.
This is a record of our catalog verification, not a claim that the games launched on this date. Future corrections should update the relevant source record and verification timestamp before a new static build is published.
